Hi are you sure they are 35 long and not 30
The bolt should be on the anvils to the left ( the longer ones )
It depends where you have the zoro set, remove the bolt and close the calipairs and see if it reads zero.

Hi Oli
Right when measuring any bolt or cap head the length is from under the head to the end of the bolt. So use the deph gauge part to get the length, but make sure when gauge is closed up it reads zero first. Failing all that give me a call.

As a non-spannery person, would I be stating the obvious if I said have you tried buying the bolts from Lotus? Feel free to shoot me down in flames if they're £100 each / obsolete but with engine stuff I'd have thought it was quite important to get exactly the right one.

Have we got a rover specialist in hull at all? Be cheaper than lotus probably.

I know there is the rover breakers down English street way I think if worst happens?
